We are excited to welcome a new space for makers and innovators in Jackson. The former factory that produced such iconic products as the Jackson car and the Sparton Radio is now the home to 40 new tenants! The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Friday, June 27 from 4pm to 10pm, and Saturday, June 28 from 11am to 7pm. Plans include live music, building tours, art studios and exhibits, food trucks, professional services, workshops & demonstrations. And on Saturday only, there will be kids activities and an antique car show, and at 8pm we'll have the first of many SPARKS After Dark rock music shows!

This month, enhance your style – your way! Join local creatives from 1 to 3 PM for a fun and hands-on workshop. This month’s session will focus on jewelry making. Participants will learn techniques turning found objects into fashionable jewelry.

There is a $10 workshop fee collected onsite. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials and found objects for upcycling. To sign up, email contact.caworkshops@gmail.com. Sign up today!

The Film Maker Mixer is where Michigan’s film scene collides. Writers, directors, cinematographers, and film junkies—if you create, watch, or breathe film, this is your space.
