As part of The Power of Words: A Transformative Art Series, this group exhibition explores the multifaceted meanings of the word “Face." From literal human features to metaphorical concepts like facing challenges or societal expectations, artists offer diverse interpretations of “face" in its emotional, cultural, and architectural dimensions.
Artists interested in submitting work for Facing Reality: An Exploration of All Facets of “Face”, are encouraged to email art634jackson@gmail.com by midnight on June 22, 2025. Please include pictures of the work, size of the piece, and the materials used. There is no limit to the number of pieces entered. A committee of artists will review each submission and will notify artists by email. Selected art must be dropped off on July 6th, 4-6 pm.
